CH Lesniak-Hill HT-HA Next Gen
Gen marks the beginning of a new adventure at Fox's Pride. She symbolizes the start of the fourth generation of our family, actively participating in the raising of our herd. Purchased as a gift for the youngest member of the family, from Lesniak Hill. The Fox family actually had a sizable Toggenburg herd back in the 80's, so it is fun to see one back in the herd today. Although we will not be establishing a large Toggenburg herd, we plan to have a few "token Toggs". It's even more fun when they freshen as nice as Gen! Gen has probably one of the most ideal shaped mammary systems in the barn. She couples that with strong feet and legs, a beautiful topline, and width and upstandingness throughout. Gen had no trouble finishing her championship in 2021 as a 3 yr old 2nd freshener. We retained her 2020 daughter "Willa" who was sired by Joheas-Acres Double Whammy, a spotlight sale buck, Willa received her first leg towards her championship as a milking yearling this year, 2021.
Fox's Pride Not Mammy's Will
Willa was freshened here as a milking yearling and did extremely well even earning herself an official milking champion leg. She did leave Fox's Pride for approx. a year but we brought her back in 2023 after she was not successfully settled in her previous home. She is officially settled and will be back in the show ring with us in 2024. She only needs one more official milking leg to finish her championship in 2024. She has a very well attached mammary system, and a longer bone pattern than her dam.
Montgomery-Park Roxanne
Roxanne came to us in the summer of 2022 and only after being here for a few weeks we brought her out to her first show. In the first ring Roxanne's sister Jolene went junior grand champion. Then Roxanne took us by surprise when she earned her dry leg and went Best Junior Doe in Show in the second ring! She finished off her 2022 season by going Best Junior Doe in Show two days in a row at the Topsfield Fair. We just love the incredible size, strength, and width of this doe. Roxanne came close to finishing her championship in 2023, but sanctioned Saanen shows are not always easy to find in New England so she just needs one more official CH win to be considered a champion in 2024. She is going to be one to watch for sure!
CH (pending) Montgomery-Park Jolene
Jolene like her littermate sister Roxanne, came to us in the summer of 2022 and a few weeks after moving here we brought them to their first show. Jolene won her dry leg in the first ring with her sister Roxanne going reserve to her. Then her sister went Grand in the second ring and Best Junior Doe in Show. To have these 2 sisters go to their first 2 ring show and promptly earn their dry legs, we were so thrilled! Jolene hit the ground running in 2023 finishing her championship at the big 6 ring North Country Showcase, as a two year old first freshener! SHe is such a lovely doe to watch walk around, incredibly correct and graceful. Her mammary system attachment is amazing and she milks like crazy. We are excited for her future!
Montgomery-Park Rosanna
We did not plan to add anymore does to our herd in 2023 but when we saw Rosanna in the Montgomery-Park barn we knew she needed to come home to Fox's Pride. She is a very big powerful doe, towering over some of our adult does in the herd even. We are eager to see her freshen in 2024 as a first freshening 2 year old.
Fox's Pride AP I Love Lucy - Grade Nubian/Toggenburg
In 2021 when the AI breeding to CH Lesniak HIll HT/HA Next Gen did not settle, we decided to breed her to one of our next best option, J&M Hideaway American Pharoah! And although we did not intend on retaining a doe kid, we sure are glad Spenser fell in love with Lucy when she saw her! Lucy has done extremely well in the show ring earning herself multiple Reserve Grand and Grand Champion Rosettes already as a junior kid. We will be keeping her a dry yearling for 2023, we are excited to see her freshen in 2024.
