CH Fox's Pride ST Sweet Patootie
With a dam like Honeysuckle you have some big shoes to fill! Patootie is a special doe in our herd because she is the last doe kid we recieved from her dam. She is a little longer boned than her dam, which was a trait she inherited from her sire Storm Trooper. She is a solid built doe with excellent width and angulation throughout. Her dam CH Fox's Pride YS Honeysuckle was a picture of longevity, CH Honeysuckle freshened in 2019 as a 12 year old and didn't look a day over 5 years old. Honey was a wide and strong doe throughout with a beautifully attached and shaped mammary. She was the 3rd place 3 year old with 1st place mammary at the ADGA National Show in 2010. She went out to a one show in 2019 and shocked us all by winning Best of Breed in a very competitive Lamancha breed. Honey appraised 91 at 12 years old, and unfortunately passed just 2 weeks later, a doe truly stunning until her last days. Patootie has had a very successful 2021 and 2022 show season, but 2023 was really the year she put it all together! She quickly finished her championship at the big 6 ring North Country Showcase in June. She went on to win multiple Best of Breed awards through the season. She took home the Best Udder in Show award at the 2023 Big E!
CH Argonne's Khaos
In 2020 a casual conversation led to the realization of a shared feelings of being impressed by Argonne's Nyx, with fellow friend and breeder Nichole Nadeau. She had plans to bring in a doe kid from her and at that time I made it very clear if she ever parted with her, she had to come to Fox's Pride. Well she made her journey here in the Spring of 2023. She finished her championship quickly as a 2 year old first freshener and received fabulous reviews from judges throughout the season. She is an incredibly correct and balanced doe with a well attached and properly shaped udder. She recieved many honarable mentions throughout the season, as being in contention for Best in Show. She went on to win Best of Breed Lamancha at the 2023 Big E. A daughter of the high selling spotlight sale buck Kastdemur's Vermouth, we anticipate her impact on our Lamancha program to be very large! We have such high hopes for Khaos and are so thrilled she is here, a big thank you for Nichole and family for letting her come to Fox's Pride.
Fox's Pride Darn Tootin'
Tootin' is the granddaughter of CH Fox's Pride YS Honeysuckle who was 3rd place with 1st mammary at the ADGA Nationals as a 3 yr old in 2011. Her dam Patootie freshened very nicely as a 2 yr old this Spring 2021 so we just knew we had to retain this lovely kid. Patootie appraised 89 this summer with a comment from the appraiser that he wished she wasn't still a first freshener or she would've scored higher. Tootin' is a more compact built doe, but went out to a few shows in 2022 as a dry yearling. Despite often being one of the smaller build does in her class she generally placed in the top tier of the class due to her correctness and extreme width throughout. 2023 first freshening showed us a beautiful wide attached mammary system, and a big will to milk! She did well in her classes earning praise from judges for her extremely correct feet and legs and topline. We expect another freshening and maturity will really allow her to shine in 2024.
LRH Farms FPJ Happy Hour
When Jill offered us Happy we just had to bring her here to Fox's Pride. Combining some of our past favorites into one pedigree (Longvu Summer Shandy, Fox's Pride Cheech, Majenli JJ Bliss, Rustic Wood's Immortal, Fox's Pride Corona Rita) she will be a lot of fun to watch grow here. Happy was a milking yearling for 2023 and did very well in the show ring. We look forward to watching her mature, she has a fabulous mammary system and is extremely wide deep and square throughout.
Fox's Pride RWI Crazy In Love
A repeated breeding from 2021 which had only produced a single pre-reserved doe, we were hoping for a doe of our own and Beyonce did just that! Love is a line breeding on Jen-Mae-Ka-Kids Hero. Hero has many champion offspring and we look forward to watching Love mature. She had a very successful show season in 2023, going out only twice and winning Reserve Grand, Junior Champion, and Junior Best in Show! We are excited to see her freshen in 2024.
Fox's Pride RWA Pale Ale
When we planned the Anheuser/Patootie breeding, our goal was to combine the amazing depth strength and width of Anheuser's dam Aphrodite with the incredible milking ability of Patootie and her dam Honeysuckle. We are very happy with Pale, she is long and elegant while still being deep and wide throughout. Pale freshened with an amazing extremely well attached mammary system in 2023 as a milking yearling. She had amazing capacity but we felt she needed time to grow and mature and opted to dry her off early and let her grow at home. We are eager to see her with a second freshening in 2024.
Rustic Wood's JG Casino Queen
When we saw the opportunity to bring Casino to Fox's Pride we just had to jump on it! She combines some of the best genetics that Rustic Wood's has to offer, and we are looking forward to her continuing to help us develop our Lamancha herd. She earned her dry leg in 2022. She was another gangly milking yearling in 2023 that we opted to dry off early and let mature and grow at home. She has an amazing mammary system when she freshened with some of the best lateral attachments I have seen. We are looking forward to seeing her second freshening in 2024.
Fox's Pride JL I Am Snazzy
Snazzy is a beautiful dairy style doe with exceptional width and depth throughout. Snazzy was kept a dry yearling in 2023 and went out a few times, winning Reserve Grand Champion once. We look forward to seeing her freshen for the first time in 2024.
