Dairy Goat Kid Sales Terms:
**Sales Terms: BY PLACING A DEPOSIT YOU ARE AGREEING THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO OUR SALES TERMS.
Please contact us directly via facebook, email, or phone to place your reservation.
If you would like to reserve a kid, a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required, reservation is not considered official until deposit is received, reservations are first come first serve. When placing your reservation please let us know your first choice breeding, and provide us with 2 alternative breedings in the event that your first choice cannot be provided. We will only accept 1 - first choice reservation on each breeding in an effort to make sure orders are filled to the best of our ability. If we plan to retain a kid(s) from a breeding, it will be listed and the buyer must understand in the event only 1 doe is born we will plan to retain it and go onto their second choice etc. Alternative choices are honored in the order they are recieved. We reserve the right to retain any kid born for our own herd. We do not typically sell intact buck kids out of first fresheners, however they can be listed as second/alternative choices. If your choice of kid is not available (this INCLUDES your first choice and alternative choices), we will refund your deposit or apply it to another kid that is available, or roll it over to the next year if the buyer wishes.
There will be NO deposit refunds on orders cancelled by the buyer.
Prices are generally determined by the LA scores, CH status, and show career of the dam; or the value of the sire (live or AI).
Our breeding plan is released prior to the current show season being finalized, if a doe finishes her championship after the program is released, the price of her kids will increase, prices are subject to change, we will contact the reservation and confirm they still want it or move it to a different available reservation. Our breeding program is created prior to breeding season starting, so breeding's may change from the initial listed plan, we will try to touch base if the plan changes to allow necessary adjustments to be made to reservations.
Your kid must be paid in full within 10 days of notification of it's birth. Kids are shipped at 1 month old, all related shipping expenses must be paid at that time. All shipping costs, including crate, any health papers, and airfare are the buyer's responsibility. Transport to the airport is $25.00 per hour it takes us to bring them to the airport and get home, so varies depending on what airport they fly out of. We can often meet ground transport and the fee to meet is also $25 an hour round trip it takes to meet the transport, and $.50 a mile round trip, no fee if the transport picks up directly at the farm. Whenever possible we will ship out of the Boston/ Manchester NH airport, otherwise it will be Logan International Airport, Boston, MA.
All kids must be picked up by 4 weeks old. Kids held longer than 4 weeks old will be subject to a daily boarding fee. We reserve the right to retain any kid born for our own herd.
We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone, buyer MUST have other goats, appropriate shelter, appropriate means to feed and support them with veterinary care. It is highly recommended that you have a vet lined up prior to bringing your first babies home, we can provide some vet contacts depending on your location. All of our animals are G6S normal by test or parentage, kids that are the result of AI breedings by bucks with unconfirmed status will be tested prior to sale. Herd tested CAE negative annually and all kids raised on CAE prevention protocol. Kids are disbudded and tattooed, named with buyers choice of name (within reason).
Registration and transfer is completed online by us and then placed into the buyers cart for payment to allow the papers to arrive already transferred directly to the buyer, this also gives the buyer the ability to see the status on the paperwork and communicate with ADGA directly. If the animal is being sent via ground or air transport, we will complete the registration so that a stamped duplicate can be within our possession immediately for transport and CVI purposes. If the buyer is not a member of ADGA the registration is completed and sent to us and we will sign the transfer and send it to the buyer via mail.
